If Pinoy Gov will have a list of most frequently asked questions, concern about the SSS contributions would be in number 1!
It appears that most Pinoys are at a loss as to how to get information regarding their SSS contributions.
Here’s good news for our mobile loving population!
You can now inquire about your SSS loan status, loan balance, and total contribution via TEXT SSS.
Members can simply text the word “SSS” and send to 2910 or 2600 to register and get their PIN. The new Text-SSS facility is being implemented in partnership with EGG and Sybase Solutions Corporation and the SSS as an alternative means to obtain faster information about SSS records.
To enjoy access to this information, you must first register.

According to PRC, the machines that they use for express renewal of PRC ID are undergoing maintenance repairs. This maintenance repair will be done for 2 days.
So remember these dates:

Stay clear from PRC on the said dates if you intend to have your PRC Ids for express renewal.
While waiting, you can check out Pinoy Gov’s post on the cost and how you can save time with PRC’s express renewal system: Express Renewal of PRC ID
Will the Express Renewal Be Available on July 23, 2010?
PRC advises its clients to call first on July 23, just to make sure that the machines are already up and running.
This will save you from the trouble of going all the way to PRC only to find out that express renewal is not yet available.
Here’s the PRC number to call: 314-0009
